When someone calls me "childish" that makes me laugh because I am a 5 year old child. Legally, emotionally and mentally. (Mommy gave me those words). Can this little girl be childish? That is who I am.

We are reading Sideways Stories from Wayside School. There are 4 books in the set. This is the first one.

Accidentally built sideways and standing thirty stories high (the builder said he was very sorry for the mistake), Wayside School has some of the wackiest classes in town, especially on the thirtieth floor. That’s where you’ll meet Bebe, the fastest draw in art class; John, who only reads upside down; Myron, the best class president ever; and Sammy, the new kid—he’s a real rat.

I love when mommy reads to me (and other ladies too). I love reading to one (or many) of my dolls). It's grade level 2 thru 6. So I may need help with big words.

Mommy says that the book is silly and entertaining. Readers describe the book as nice, exciting, and easy to read. I'll write about it when we finish reading the book.

This is Kit Kittredge - She represents the American Girl Depression Era (the 1930s). Kit was named after her mother and Aunt Millie; however, she prefers to go by her nickname. Kit is both derived from her last name and the Great War^[3]-era song "Pack Up Your Troubles in Your Old Kit-Bag". She'd beg her father to "sing the kit song!" and soon after everyone began to call her Kit and the name stuck. Charlie calls her "Squirt."

Mommy just bought Kit for me when we were at the American Girl store in Charlotte, NC about a month ago. I have not read her book(s) yet. There are 6 books!! The one I have, that came with Kit is Meet Kit: An American Girl.   

American Girl characterizes her as resourceful and clever, having a can-do attitude and someone who loves to put her creativity to work to brighten someone else's day. She is also characterized as being inquisitive on her Meet video on YouTube, and the catalogue page on the American Girl Publishing site. The American Girl website also describes her as a bright light in the dark days of the Great Depression.

I love unicorns, rainbows, princesses and fairies and so much more. Mommy took me and Amy to Unicorn World last month. It was lots of fun and I got to wear my unicorn dress!

Question for Sissy Dani: What are the most appropriate professions for a sissy who needs to earn a living in the workplace? What skill sets are required for these professions?

Sissy Dani replies:

Naturally, the first response that occurs is the one traditionally associated with sissies: Maid. A well-trained sissy will have all the requirements of a good ladies’ maid—poise, fashion sense and knowledge, cosmetics, etc. In addition, should her employer require it (and most will, I assume), a sissy can serve as a bedmate, providing sexual attention.

Along the same lines, a sissy can make her way in the world as an escort or “call girl”. She is, again, already well-versed in the sexual arts and is used to being seen as an object of desire and lust. Of course, unlike most in her profession, her primary clientele will be dominant women, seeking an evening’s companionship and entertainment—although, occasionally, a gay man may request her services when it is necessary for him to have a glamorous “feminine” date.

A sissy who is good at flirting can likely make a living as a cocktail waitress, especially at a bar or restaurant catering to a lesbian/domme clientele.

When we went to Unicorn World mommy bought me this pretty coloring book. She likes me to have time during the day to color pictures and tell her what I see in the picture.

I am obsessed with unicorns, rainbows and girly things. Everyone knows I won't wear any clothes unless they are pretty! That means pink, pink, pink, maybe purple, unicorns, rainbows, clouds, glitter, ice cream, flowers, butterflies and pretty dresses!!

Friends of mommy's have girls that are into the same things that I am. But , i was told, that, as they get older, they grow out of these things.

Last Sunday Mommy and I went with Ms Molly and little Amy to see the StellaLuna puppet show. I also took Kit Kitteredge, my new American Girl doll with me.

Knocked from her mother’s safe embrace by an attacking owl, Stellaluna lands headfirst in a bird’s nest. This adorable baby fruit bat’s world is literally turned upside down when she is adopted by the occupants of the nest and adapts to their peculiar bird habits

"I think this is quite a mystery" Flap chirped

"I agree." said Stellaluna, "But were friends. And that's a fact.

Question for Ms Dani:
What are the most humiliating girly names for a sissy? I have read that a girly middle name is an absolute MUST for a sissy! At what age should a sissy be referred to by his girly name? How does having a real girly name affect the sissy's self-identification?

Ms. Dani replies:

I have a mix of feelings about sissy names. Most commonly a sissy is given a name that is a feminine variant of his male name, such as Donald becoming Donna or Charles becoming Charlotte. All well and good (after all my name is a feminine variant of my own middle name). And, yes, if that is the path the mistress intends to take, “christening” the new sissy as soon as possible is the best choice. I’d even suggest using it when he is in male mode (especially in public), as it will only add to the humiliation a sissy should feel from his feminization.

However, I think there are other equally valid choices to make. It might be useful to give the sissy a particularly silly or childish feminine name. Appellations such as “Trixie” or “Cookie” or “Ginger” will indicate to the sissy that he is not at all a “normal” girl, but a caricature of femininity. Again, referring to him by these terms even when he is wearing masculine attire will solidify his reduction in status.

And yet, there may be another way to go—don’t change his name at all. This may work best when his male name is something so obviously masculine that there is no generally accepted feminine equivalent. Names such as “Roger” or “Howard” or “Stanley”—when used for a male who is dressed in the most feminine and/or childish of manners—can be particularly humiliating. Imagine mincing down the street in heels and a miniskirt while your female companion calls you “Herbie” loud enough for all to hear!

Obviously, the choice should be the domme’s to make…and the sissy should accept it as the only thing he will be known by in the future.

The first 4 months of this year have gone by so quickly. I have learned so much and have had lots of fun being myself.  A cute little girl sissy!
