A curtsy is a girl’s traditional gesture of greeting, in
which she bends her knees, while holding out her skirt,
and bowing her head. While it is rare to see a girl curtsy
in polite society these days it is a requirement for little
girl sissies in almost all informal and certainly all
formal situations.
