There is definitely a rise in feminized men in western countries. What percentage of women desire to feminize men and transition them to a feminine lifestyle?

Sissy Dani responds:

That’s a tough question to answer. I started by looking for any polling or other statistics on women who participate in feminization; my search came up empty. So, I’m afraid my answer will be largely anecdotal.

On my list of blogs I follow, there are a half-dozen or so written by men who have been feminized by their female partners or by women who have feminized their male partners. The comments on those blogs would indicate that for every pairing of this kind, there are some 10 to 20 others who are either living the same lifestyle or would like to. Of course, there is no real way for me to investigate that all these people are “real” or not just engaging in a fantasy. Still, combined with the growing audience for shows like RuPaul’s Drag Race and for activities like womanless beauty pageants, the evidence exists for a community of feminizing dominant women and their submissive partners.

Many of these couples appear to have begun as more “vanilla”. Often, they might be described as a “female-led relationship” or FLR, in which the woman partner takes on the duties and activities more usually expected to be the male’s domain—primary earner, controlling the budget, even making decisions about sexual activity. In time, to reinforce that sense of control, the woman begins to demand that the man behave more like a typical woman, right down to how he dresses. It might start with aprons and then move on to panties and nighties, and later to completely feminine attire at all times.

The man’s willingness to acquiesce to this treatment is often enhanced by tying it to sexual satisfaction. He is denied orgasm unless wearing feminine clothing, for instance; in some cases, the in-charge woman may insist that his only sexual activity is cunnilingus, turning him into a “male lesbian”, or anal penetration with a strap-on dildo (often referred to as “pegging”). Soon, the male will prefer these methods to any others and will happily play the part of a submissive, feminized toy in order to achieve arousal and satisfaction.

How many of these couples live this way full time, 24/7? Enough, perhaps, for there to be a number of successful companies who cater to them by providing feminine clothing in sizes that fit the male physique, including outfits for maids and other domestic servants.

It's a perfect dress for the summer. The dress is very short which is the style for little girls of 4 or 5 wear. Sissy has lovely blonde curls and a million-dollar smile. Everyone can see. what a happy little sissy darling she is. The polka dot dresses are very juvenile but that perfect for a child of Annie's age.

Should a female boss insist on a feminine dress code for all employees—male and female?

When it comes to a female-owned and -managed business, I would strongly approve and encourage the women to set a dress and behavior policy that is strictly feminine.

The type of business will determine whether the dress code is casual, dressy casual, semi-formal or business formal. Females should be given more flexibility in dress which include tailored slacks. Males will not be allowed to wear slacks. They must always be in skirts or dresses and heels.

Casual dress code is synonymous with comfort yet it demands a sense of style. This is not about your loungewear or the oversized tee you love for lazy Sundays. It's about striking a balance between ease and fashion. It's the realm where sundresses, neat jeans, and tailored shorts reign. The key is to look approachable and relaxed while maintaining a polished appearance. What to Wear: Opt for a sundress, a long or short skirt, jeans, khakis, or well-fitted jeans. Pair these with a plain T-shirt, polo, turtleneck, or a casual button-down blouse.

Navigating through the Dressy Casual terrain can be tricky, but it's all about a sophisticated touch to everyday wear. It's less about formality and more about looking well put together. Perfect for occasions that are casual yet require a hint of elegance. What to Wear: Choose from a variety of options like a stylish dress, a skirt paired with a dressy top, dressy pants outfits, or nice jeans teamed with a chic top.

Semi-Formal attire is your opportunity to shine without the rigidity of full formal wear. It's often chosen for events like dinner parties, business gatherings, or weddings. This dress code calls for polished, graceful outfits that are a notch above everyday wear but not as extravagant as formal attire. What to Wear: A short afternoon or cocktail dress, a "little black dress", a long dressy skirt and top, or dressy separates can make perfect outfits for semi-formal events.

Business Formal is where professionalism meets style. Often a requirement in corporate environments, this dress code is about projecting authority and competence. While it's more structured, there's room for personal expression through color choices and subtle accessories. What to Wear: A suit, a business-style dress, a dress with a jacket and heels (either low or high) are great choices.

Males should be complimented and reinforced for their feminine dress and deportment. Women should be complimented and reinforced for their competency and leadership skills. The women should introduce feminine activities and hobbies to the males. The males should participate in activities that are traditionally associated with femininity, such as cooking, crafting, or dancing. This will help them become more comfortable with their feminine self.

FemBoy vs Sissy

Both terms tend to have wildly varying connotations, depending on who you ask and in what setting they are used. This is true even by the people that claim them as identities.

For some people, femboy and sissy are interchangeable in meaning whereas for others sissy is a slur and femboy is value neutral. Also, in many NSFW contexts, both femboy and sissy have become fairly synonymous with fetish fashion, submission, humiliation and forced feminization. Outside of queer spaces, femboy has historically been used as an epithet to demean or humiliate in much the same way as sissy or tranny. 

Sissies generally seek domination whereas femboys don't necessarily seek domination. Also, sissies are like femboys in drag--in other words, they overdo their femininity and their appearance of vulnerability. They might also present in a more childish manner.

Sissies tend to derive gratiffication in roleplay that has to do with themes of being forced, being "emasculated" or performing servitude (maid, slave), as well as physical or mental masochism (or both), for example being called terms such as bitch or fag, being spanked or gagged, cuckolding, being "bimbofied" and/or being dressed in over the top "girly" outfits usually considered funny or ridiculous by current standards. 

The sissy kink also overlaps with chastity play. Sometimes sissyfication also eroticizes aspects of female physiology such as menstruation or pregnancy, as a sign of the sissies being "robbed" or driven away of their "manhood" (which also may or may not involve being degraded for it).

A femboy is a male (usually young, hence boy in the label) who is "gender atypical", having a mix of appearance, behavIour and personality that aligns more to that which is expected on girls and women. 

A femboy would be a synonym of the first (older) use of sissy but not of the second. With the second there is an overlap, since you can have femboys that are kink sissies and femboys who are not.

            My goals make it very clear tha I am a sissy.

Mistress Amelia asks:
How does a male incorporate being a sissy into his everyday life and still work as a man?

Sissy Dani replies:

The obvious response is that he wears feminine attire under his male clothing—panties, camisoles, stockings, possibly even a bra. But that may not be enough to satisfy his own girlish desires or the demands of his Mistress. So what else is possible?

He can make changes to his appearance that are not blatant, but reflect his feminine self. For instance, he may have his hair styled in a unisex or even feminine manner. It could be colored or frosted or highlighted; he might even get a permanent wave. A feminine manicure is a possibility, with a subtle pink color applied. Cosmetics might also be used to hint at a more girlish appearance—a pink lip gloss, or a light application of mascara on his lashes. Careful trimming and shaping of his brows can assist in a feminine look.

Of course, in the modern world, the differences between male and female clothing can be less obvious. A silk shirt in a delicate pastel (peach or lavender, for example) conveys a feminine appearance. The collar can be designed to emphasize girlishness—a long pointed look is clearly intended for a woman. And, naturally, buttons on the “wrong” side will add to the effect. Women’s slacks can also be found in sizes that will fit a male body…and will convey a different look: They generally fit more closely over the ass and have a more flowing, loose fit over the lower leg. Many styles designed for women will have zippers on the side or the back, rather than the front.

Footwear choice can also be important. Patent leather will always seem more feminine…and a mild heel (one-and-a-half inches in height) will enforce a more girlish gait. Visible bows and buckles may also hint at his feminine preferences.

Naturally, there are other things that a “secret sissy” can do. He should always sit when using the toilet (choosing panties and feminine slacks will enforce this). His choices at meals can be more girlish as well—light salads as opposed to burgers or sandwiches, for example. He should act as if he expects to be treated as a female—wait for the door to be opened and held, be served first in the restaurant. He should ask for assistance when handling heavy or bulky packages or going up and down steep stairs. His handshake should be limp-wristed rather than a firm grip; in fact, greeting with a casual wave might be preferable.

As time goes by, and his employer and co-workers become accustomed to his girlish ways, he can begin to increase his outer sissyness until, finally, he arrives at work in dress, heels and full makeup as the sissy he is meant to be.

How should a dominant woman respond to a male who asks to be feminized?

Mistress Amelia responds:
That's an excellent question. It is important to first ask about the male's background, seriousness about the request and willingness to totally submit to a dominant.

I usually find that most males who desire to be feminized have many "Buts"
- But I can only be feminized in private
- But I can't have any physical body changes
- But I have family that will not approve
- But I have a job where I must be in male clothes

The male must be 100% ready for the journey to total feminization. It's a step-by-step approach. Physical and emotional changes. Willingness to completely submit to the dominant and accept sissification. The strong desire to be a girly girl and incorporate that into every aspect of his life--pretty dresses, feminine clothes and attitude, etc.
