Sissy Princess Annie and Samantha (Truly Me)

This is Samantha, my first American Girl Dolly. She means a lot to me because my mommy got her for me on our first visit to American Girl.

Truly Me (originally American Girl of Today in 1995; shortened to American Girl Today in 1996; renamed Just Like You[ in 2006; renamed to My American Girl in 2010; and renamed to the current name in 2015) is the line of clothing and dolls that are intended to reflect a more modern time than that of the Historical Characters.

I learned how to care for my AG Dollies by taking good care and loving Samantha!

Everyone loves watching little girls care for their dolls. It's important that children be able to identify with dolls so that they can imagine the world from their perspectives and build empathy. Little girl sissies need that and so much more. --- Mommy

Rules for caring for your Dolly #1:
